§ 22-801. Intent.

The intent of this article is to provide standards for the effective construction of private residential boat ramps on man-made bodies of water, which standards protect the public health, safety, and welfare to the citizens of the county. The standards also serve to protect the shoreline protection buffer and ensure that any alteration does not adversely impact water quality and natural habitats.
