§ 22-564. Training of code inspectors.

(a)

The county contractors' licensing board shall approve individuals as code inspectors and issue the individuals such evidence of approval as code officers/inspectors as necessary to attest to their proficiency, experience and expertise as code inspectors under this article. Each individual who has been approved must be approved by the county contractors' licensing board annually.

(b)

The certification program shall be administered by the code enforcement division or such other department/division as the county administrator designates.
