§ 26-76. Family day care homes and large family child care homes; additional requirements.
(a)
Food service will be required to meet the standards of Chapter 64E- 12.004, Florida Administrative Code, as may be amended.
(b)
Accidents and incidents shall be documented in writing, provided to the parent or guardian on the day of occurrence and maintained by the licensee for one year. Documentation shall include the name of the affected person, date and time of occurrence, description of occurrence, actions taken and by whom, and appropriate signatures of licensee and custodial parent or legal guardian. Bites or attacks from household pets are considered an accident or incident required to be reported pursuant to this provision.
(c)
In the event a household pet is declared dangerous pursuant to chapter 14, the licensee shall immediately provide written notification of the declaration to environmental health services and the custodial parent or legal guardian of all children currently cared for at the home. Prospectively, the licensee shall provide written notification to the custodial parent or legal guardian of any additional children proposed to be cared for by the licensee advising that a declared dangerous animal resides at the home.
(d)
The most recent environmental health services and department of health inspection reports must be posted in a conspicuous location accessible to parents or guardians.
