§ 2-29. Office within district.
Latest version.
Every county commissioner must have his or her district office located within the boundaries of the district in which he or she was elected. In the event redistricting causes a county commissioner's office to be located outside the district in which he or she was elected, that commissioner shall relocated his or her office back to his or her district, at the county's expense, within 60 days after the new district boundaries take effect.
