§ 34-45. Donations, purchases, loans of works of applied art.

A purpose of this article is to encourage donations or loans of art works and such donations or loans shall count toward the one-percent appropriation. The APPAC shall establish the value of the donated or loaned works of art for purposes of calculating or applying the one-percent determination. Only proposed donations, purchases or loans of works of applied art, where supported by the art in public places trust fund, shall be referred to the APPAC for review based on the selection criteria in section 34-42.
