The governing body of the agency shall be the trustees of the fund and shall be responsible
for the receipt, custody, disbursement, accountability, management, investment and
proper application of all monies paid into the fund. The agency governing body, in
cooperation with the city council and county commission, shall be responsible for
complying with the annual auditing, reporting and mailing requirements specified in
F.S. § 163.387(8).
