§ 42-80. Prima facie evidence of need for emergency medical services.

  • The fact that any improved real property is capable of being occupied for residential, business, commercial, agricultural or otherwise, shall be prima facie evidence that the property has the potential for the need for emergency medical services. EMS non-ad valorem assessments, when applicable, shall be levied against newly constructed improved real property as a lien immediately following the initial connection of permanent electric utility service or whenever the certificate of occupancy is issued on behalf of the board or by a municipality, whichever occurs first.
