§ 54-36. Declaration of need.

The board of county commissioners hereby finds and declares that it is essential that the people of the county have access to adequate medical care and health facilities, and that it is essential that health facilities within the county be provided with additional means to assist them in the development and maintenance of the public health. As a result, the board of county commissioners finds and declares that there is a need for the creation of the county health facilities authority pursuant to the Health Facilities Authorities Law (F.S. § 154.201 et seq.).
