§ 66-1. Liability insurance required on motor vehicles owned or leased by sheriff's department.
The sheriff of the county shall maintain a policy of liability insurance for any and all personal injury, death, or property damage arising out of the maintenance, operation, or use of any motor vehicle owned, leased, or operated by the sheriff of the county or any of his agents or employees, to the extent of at least $100,000.00 bodily injury liability per person; $300,000.00 bodily injury liability per occurrence; and $50,000.00 property damage liability per accident.
