§ 82-12. Pay plan.

The director of human resources shall establish and maintain on a current basis a comprehensive pay plan for all employees in the county service. The pay plan shall include a pay schedule for each class of position which shall consist of entry and advance rates as are necessary and equitable. In establishing such schedules, consideration shall be given to the duties, skills and qualifications established in the classification plan for comparable work in the open competitive labor market.
