§ 222-36. Definitions.
As used in this article:
Air pollution is the presence in the outdoor atmosphere of substances put there by man in concentrations sufficient to cause an unreasonable interference with the comfort, safety or health of man or the unreasonable use and enjoyment of his property.
Board of county commissioners shall mean the board of county commissioners of Brevard County functioning and acting as the Brevard County pollution control commission; and whenever the term "the board" is used, it shall refer to and mean the board of county commissioners of Brevard County functioning and acting as the Brevard County pollution control commission.
Control officer means the air and water pollution control officer of the county.
County shall mean the county of Brevard.
Person means and includes an individual, firm, public or private corporation, association, partnership, political subdivision, municipality or government agency.
Waters of the county shall be construed to include lakes, rivers, ponds, inland waters, underground waters, salt waters and all other surface waters and watercourses within Brevard County.
