§ 230-56. Contracts with state, etc., agencies.

  • The district shall have the power to contract or arrange with any municipality, any nonprofit corporation, the school board of Brevard County, any state agency and any federal agency for the purpose of providing and arranging for buildings, facilities, books, supplies, materials, equipment, furniture, grants, funds or any other real and personal property to be used in the establishment, operation and maintenance of a free public library service within Brevard County as provided in this article. Said power to contract and arrange shall be plenary and shall include the power and authority to set, perform and carry out the terms and conditions of all such contracts or arrangements.
