§ 254-38. Interfering with or damaging mosquito control projects; penalty.

  • Whoever shall unlawfully damage any ditch, canal, drain, dike or other work established or constructed under this article, or whoever shall unlawfully interfere with or injure the filling of depressions, lakes, ponds or marshes which may be done at any time under the provisions of this article, or whoever shall fill or obstruct the flow of water in any canal, ditch or drain constructed under this article, or whoever shall remove any earth, stone or other material from the banks of any ditch, lake, pond or other work constructed under this article, without first having obtained permission from the board to remove such material shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by the laws of the state of Florida for the punishment of misdemeanors.
