§ 258-73. Scope of authority.

The provisions of this article shall supersede the power and authority of any regional water supply authority created under F.S. § 373.1962, and nothing contained in said F.S. § 373.1962 shall be construed to limit or restrict the power of the authority to secure and implement a water supply and to provide transmission of same from without or within the boundaries of the district.

The introductory language to Laws of Fla. ch. 87-481, § 1, reads as follows: "Sections 1, 4, 10, and 14 and subsections (4), (6), and (8) of section 6 of chapter 83-375, Laws of Florida, are amended to read: ". The language that followed did not contain any language referencing § 14, nor did the context of the various amendments suggest that § 14 was implicitly amended or repealed.
