§ 62-1923. Convenience store in BU-1-A zoning classification.
Convenience stores, with or without gasoline sales, in a BU-1-A zoning classification are subject to the following:
(1)
The property must abut a public road right-of-way having a minimum width of 60 feet, must be located near the intersection of two collector roadways or near the intersection of an arterial and a collector roadway, and should be spaced at least one-half mile from an existing convenience store in the urban areas or at least one mile from an existing convenience store in the rural areas.
(2)
Where gasoline pumps are proposed, the gasoline pumps shall be located at least 15 feet from all property lines. The location of the pumps shall not interfere with traffic circulation or with on-site parking.
(3)
There shall be no mechanical work done to motor vehicles on the site.
