§ 62-2409. Enforcement.

  • If the county manager or designee shall find that any of the provisions of this division are being violated, it shall notify in writing the person responsible for the violation, specifying the nature of the violation and what corrective measures must be taken. The county manager or designee shall order discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings, or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations, or structural changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any other action authorized by law to insure compliance with or to prevent violation of the provisions of this division. The county may seek enforcement action against both the record owner of the property and any other person or entity responsible for carrying out any prohibited action.
