Chapter 62. LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS |
Article VIII. SITE PLANS |
§ 62-3201. Purpose.
The purpose of this article is:
(1)
To insure that a proposed development is non-injurious to contiguous and other directly affected properties, and to further ensure that its impacts are compatible and harmonious with the surrounding, general character of the area.
(2)
To provide standards and procedures for the development of properties through the submittal of site plans which includes the acceptance, review, approval, construction, and issuance of certificate of completion.
(3)
To implement the orderly review, efficient and economical development of land consistent with the comprehensive plan.
(4)
To provide guidelines and procedures for an efficient and effective review process.
