Chapter 50. FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION |

§ 50-37. Penalty.
It shall be unlawful for any person to violate the provisions of this article, and any person found guilty of violating this article shall be punished as provided in section 1-7. In addition, the proper authorities of the county may prosecute the violation before the code enforcement board of the county for the imposition of such penalties as may be provided for under chapter 2, article VI, division 2. Further, the proper authorities of the county, in addition to the remedies provided in this section, may institute any appropriate action or proceeding to prevent such violation in a court of competent jurisdiction.
